if you sell it, you most likely take a loss because the buyer will not pay you a lot for a messed up car (smoking, bad idle, etc.) if you get a newer Z, it is hard to tell if the turbos will go or not. it all depends on how the car was taken care of. the turbos can last anywhere from 40k miles to 100k miles, just depends on how they were looked after (cooled down, driven hard, etc). but the newer Z will less likely have connector problems, but it may have the problems you are having now in the future. i would see it this way: turbos going bad but engine strong. so, i get bigger turbos that cost about the same as OEM ones and make the car really fast. i think the JWT sport 500's are near the OEM cost?? if you want to sell the Z and save a lot on maintenance costs get another make of car. one that is relatively low maintenance and cost efficient. this is just IMHO, hope this helps.
